On Thursday May 7 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., a seminar entitled "Scientific Writing in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: A Short Practical Handbook will be held in Lecture Room D."
It will feature Filippo Piccinini, Associate Professor at the University of Bologna and Principal Investigator of the Microscopy and Artificial Intelligence (MiAI) unit at IRCCS Istituto Romagnolo per lo Studio dei Tumori (IRST) "Dino Amadori." His research integrates AI, microscopy and data analysis applied to oncology and 3D in vitro models, with a focus on developing software tools for life sciences. He was ranked by Elsevier/Stanford as one of the most cited researchers globally in 2025.
