Mandatory training for students on workplace safety
Mandatory workplace safety training for all students enrolled in scientific departments. In compliance with the combined provisions of Legislative Decree 81/08 and the State-Region Agreement of July 25, 2012, the University is required to provide workplace safety training to all workers.
"University students, doctoral students, postgraduate students, trainees, scholarship holders, and their equivalents when they attend teaching, research, or service laboratories that use machinery, equipment, and work tools in general, as well as chemical, physical, and biological agents" are considered workers for all purposes.
To optimize such a complex training program, in addition to the safety training already provided within individual degree programs, it was deemed appropriate to utilize e-learning training technologies. An online training course was therefore developed, divided into three parts:
Module 1: General training (4 hours) - general content, common to all student categories;
Module 2: Low-risk specific training (4 hours) - specific content for student categories with a low risk profile;
Module 3: Medium-risk specific training (4 hours) - specific content for student categories with a medium risk profile.
Module 4: Specific training for Department of Veterinary Science degree courses.
